Politecnico di Milano’s responsibilities in the project will centre around coordination and management of the project activities. This will involve leading the first task group as well as responsibility for all nine task groups. Through the UNESCO Chair in Energy for Sustainable Development, POLIMI will lead Work Package 4, which will establish a PhD summer school based on the WEF Nexus, as well as carry out a training module in Italy. The implementation of this training module will require preparation and adoption of the relevant training materials whilst cooperating closely with the Egyptian partners. Topics to be addressed by these modules include: Renewable Energy Technologies, Economic and Environmental Impact, and Competition Versus Cooperation. POLIMI will also be tasked with the overall financial administration of the project.
